Unlocking Industrial Value Chains in Andalucia for Decarbonization and Competitiveness

November 6, 2025962

The Andalucia Agency for Energy is launching a significant initiative to bolster the regions industrial value chains through targeted incentives starting October 10, 2025. This program aligns with strategic objectives to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of key industrial sectors in Andalucia by facilitating productive investments and energy excellence. With a total budget of 109 million euros, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER 21-27), the program specifically supports industries within 19 strategic sectors and aerospace activities, aiming to strengthen their position in the market.

Divided into two main lines, the program focuses on boosting industrial competitiveness and improving energy efficiency. The first line allocates over 25 million euros for investments that promote industrial growth, diversification, innovation in processes or products, and capacity enhancement. This includes funding for new investments, expansion projects, and consultancy services aimed at productivity and territorial value addition. These initiatives are competitive and require timely applications, with the deadline set for October 31, 2025.

The second line emphasizes energy efficiency, with a substantial budget of approximately 84 million euros. It targets reducing the environmental impact of industries by supporting energy-efficient buildings, processes, renewable energy integration, and innovative renewable technologies close to market readiness. This non-competitive scheme offers subsidies to energy service companies, renewable energy communities, and citizen energy groups committed to sustainable energy solutions in industrial and service sectors.

Eligible beneficiaries encompass various business sizes, including micro, small, medium, and large enterprises, as well as associations and private entities actively engaged in relevant sectors as outlined in the program's CNAE classification. Exclusions apply, such as microenterprises in the case of energy efficiency, and certain clusters unless specific conditions are met.

For those interested, the application process can be initiated through designated online channels, with an initial consultation window open until October 31, 2025. Afterwards, queries can be directed via a dedicated online support system. This initiative presents a strategic opportunity for industries aiming to boost innovation, energy sustainability, and competitiveness, contributing to Andalucia's broader industrial transformation and decarbonization goals.

By investing in these value chains with a focus on digitalization, energy efficiency, and renewable integration, Andalucia aims to foster a resilient and environmentally sustainable industrial future aligned with European climate objectives.
