Accelerating Industrial Decarbonization in Andalucía Through Strategic Incentives and Energy Efficiency

October 15, 2025997

Starting October 10, 2025, Andalucía has opened the application process for its industrial value chain support program, aligned with the Ordinance of March 13, 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen and enhance the competitiveness of the region's most strategic industrial sectors through investments that promote productive growth and energy excellence.

The program, with a total budget of €109 million cofinanced by FEDER 2021-2027, targets companies within 19 industrial plans and the Aerospace Strategy of Andalucía. The funds are divided into two distinct lines: one aimed at boosting industrial competitiveness and the other focused on advancing energy efficiency and sustainability within industrial processes.

Enhancing Industrial Competitiveness

The first line, allocated €25.3 million, encourages productive investments that expand or diversify industrial value chains, including the development of new products or processes. It supports initiatives like capacity expansion, innovation in products or processes, and consultancy services to enhance operational capabilities.

This line operates through a competitive procedure, with applications open until October 31, 2025. Eligible beneficiaries include micro, small, medium, and large companies that operate within the specified industrial sectors and are registered under the appropriate CNAE codes. Certain exclusions apply, notably microenterprises and clusters, which are limited to specific actions such as organizational development.

Fostering Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

The second line, with a budget of €83.64 million, emphasizes improving energy performance and reducing environmental impact. It promotes the deployment of renewable energy sources, energy-saving measures in buildings, industrial processes, and installations, along with near-market renewable technologies.

This scheme is available through non-competitive grants managed by the Andalusian Energy Agency. Eligible participants include energy service companies, renewable energy communities, and citizen energy communities, provided their activities align with the listed CNAE codes.

Application and Support Process

Applicants interested in these incentives can access further information and submit their requests through the designated online platform. During the application period from October 10 to October 31, 2025, a dedicated email channel is available for inquiries, transitioning to an online help desk after November 1, 2025.

This initiative demonstrates Andalucía's strategic commitment to fostering industrial growth, competitiveness, and sustainability through targeted investments in technological innovation and energy efficiency, essential for decarbonization and green industry transformation.
