Accelerating Industrial Sustainability: Andalusian Incentives for Value Chain Innovation and Energy Efficiency
Starting October 10, 2025, Andalusia launches a new incentives program focused on strengthening industrial value chains and promoting energy efficiency across key sectors. With a total budget of €109 million, co-financed by FEDER 21-27, the program is designed to support industries classified under 19 strategic sectors and the Andalusian Aerospace Strategy.
The program is divided into two main lines, each targeting different aspects of industrial development and sustainability. The first line aims to enhance the competitive capacity of industrial value chains through productive investments, process and product innovation, as well as capacity-building services. This includes funding for new or expanding companies, as well as developing industrial processes and products, with an emphasis on boosting local productivity and territorial value. This line, with a budget of €25.3 million, operates on a competitive basis, with a deadline for applications set for October 31, 2025.
The second line concentrates on improving energy performance across industrial facilities and processes. It allocates €83.64 million for investments in energy efficiency in buildings, processes, and renewable energy installations. Funding targets include energy-efficient buildings, sustainable processes, and renewable energy installations such as solar and other technologies near commercialization. This line operates through non-competitive subsidies managed by the Andalusian Energy Agency and welcomes applications from a broad range of entities, including energy service companies and renewable energy communities.
Eligible beneficiaries encompass micro, small, medium, and large private companies, including self-employed individuals and associations involved in economic activities within the sectors defined in the programs. Notably, microenterprises are excluded from certain lines, and clustering or innovative business groups are permitted mainly under specific subprograms. Energy service companies and renewable energy communities can also benefit, provided they operate within the appropriate regulatory frameworks.
Potential applicants interested in accessing these incentives can find detailed procedures and application guidance through dedicated channels, including a scheduled Q&A support from October 10 to October 31, 2025. Post this period, queries should be directed via the designated online platform. The initiative encourages industries to adopt innovative, sustainable practices that enhance competitiveness, reduce environmental impact, and leverage renewable energy sources to meet the demands of an increasingly decarbonized economy.
Overall, the Andalusian program represents a significant step toward industrial decarbonization and competitiveness, aligning regional economic strategies with Europe's green transition commitments. By fostering investments in productivity, innovation, and renewable energy, the initiative aims to create a more sustainable and resilient industrial ecosystem in Andalucia.
